  1. Short:    RFS and RFH WPL/XferQ File Request Servers

  6.     Two  File  request  handlers  are  included  in this archive.  RFS is a
  7. full-featured  request  server  for  both human and mailer calls.  RFH is a
  8. small,  fast  request Function Host for mailers only.  
  9.

  25.     o 5D Addressing and Multi-Line through the magic of WPL.
  26.     o Includes the fast freq list search utility Fsearch, 
  27.       written by Frederic Morin for RFS.
  28.     o MAGIC filename support.
  29.     o multiple files can be sent for a MAGIC name.
  30.     o PASSWORD protection on file areas, specific files and Magic
  31.       filenames.
  32.     o ACCOUNTING  support keeps track of the number requests, the number
  33.       of files sent and the number of bytes sent to each requesting node.
  34.     o Buffered access to either WPL Log or own logfile for result
  35.       statistics.
  36.     o Uses  freq  listing  with  full PASSWORD and MAGIC name support as
  37.       created  by  RFSfreqlist,  Wfilelist,  FileMGR,  GKupload and other
  38.       wnotify/xfreqsh filelist generators.
  39.     o NO File I/O during processing other than reading the REQ,
  40.       accounting data, writing the response message  and searching
  41.       the FREQ.LST. Virtually All writes to disk are buffered and
  42.       and deferred until after requested files are queued.
  43.     * Configurable Header and Footnote texts added to response message.
  44.     * Sends text file instead of mail packet for human requesters
  45.     * FIRST TIME LETTER for callers.
  46.     * PERSONAL  message  for  callers  can be left by sysop which will be
  47.       included in response file on next call.
  48.     * Reward for CallBack Verified GRAB users
  49.     * Supports GRAB, the WPL File Request Server for Humans
  50.     * Supports BROWSE, the WPL File Stack Browser Door
  51.     * Supports WfreqIt, the WPL File Request Forwarder
  52.         
  53.     RFS  and  RFH  are also included in the SHELTER Family of FrontEnds and
  54. Mailers distribution.
